According to Odaily, the Web3 sports gaming project, Bitball, has recently secured a strategic seed funding of $2 million from Bitfun Capital. Following the funding, Bitball plans to further its market development and technical advancements, with substantial resource support from Bitfun Capital.
Bitball is a sports metaverse platform that integrates elements of GameFi and SocialFi. It is dedicated to connecting sports to Web3, providing new digital experiences and virtual spaces for sports stars, clubs, institutions, and fans. It also incorporates more gaming, sports, and entertainment elements.
With the commencement of the European Cup, Bitball's first game, Set Piece Master, is set to officially launch in June.
