🔔 Massive Bitcoin Moves by Mt. Gox: What's Happening?

In a jaw-dropping move, Mt. Gox, infamous for its troubled past, has recently shifted a staggering 13,265 Bitcoins, valued at $784 million. Here's the breakdown: 12,000 BTC to a new address and 1,265 BTC to a cold wallet.

But that's not all. Mt. Gox still holds a massive 46,164 BTC (approximately $2.73 billion). This comes amidst ongoing efforts to repay creditors under a legal rehabilitation plan started in July.

Throughout July, Mt. Gox made headlines with colossal transfers: $2.7 billion in one move on July 5, $3.07 billion on July 16 to a speculated Kraken address, and $2.85 billion on July 22, including significant sums to Bitstamp and unknown wallets.

Now, with 40% of owed Bitcoin already distributed, eyes are on what's next. Just recently, another 33.96K BTC ($2.25 billion) moved to a Bitgo wallet. The market reaction remains to be seen.
