According to Odaily, Federico Carrone, founder of Aligned Layer, expressed concerns on X about the lack of deep understanding among many venture capitalists (VCs) regarding the work done by projects and the technical and business capabilities of the people behind them. Carrone highlighted that a few months ago, two major VCs had questioned Aligned Layer's potential. Despite this, the company has successfully raised three rounds of funding in the past few months, with two rounds completed in just two weeks. Currently, Aligned Layer is undergoing audits by four companies in preparation for launching its mainnet. Carrone also mentioned that he is in discussions with lawyers about the possibility of buying back shares from any VCs who wish to exit. He emphasized that while he is unaware of any VCs wanting to leave, he wants to provide them with the option.
