This Japanese Company Made a New Bitcoin (BTC) Purchase!

MetaPlanet, a Japanese-based investment company, announced that it purchased 57.1 Bitcoins (worth $3.38 million). MetaPlanet, which has gradually purchased BTC in previous periods, seems to aim to become Japan's MicroStrategy.

Although this purchase attracted attention, the company's shares fell by 6% with the purchase announcement. It also seems that MetaPlanet's #BTC purchases are very small compared to MicroStrategy.

According to the information shared, MetaPlanet purchased these products at an average of $59,237 per BTC. This BTC purchase has again made its mark in Japanese markets.

According to MetaPlanet representatives, the board of directors allocated a loan of 1 billion yen ($6.8 million) to invest in the leading cryptocurrency. This amount is planned to be used entirely for the purpose of purchasing BTC.

The last time the company added 20.38 Bitcoin to its portfolio was July 22, and the company currently has 303 #BTC on its balance sheet, worth approximately $20 million.

MetaPlanet officials said they would continue to follow the long-term strategy of increasing the number of Bitcoins in the company and would wait for the right time to purchase BTC.
