According to Foresight News, Mango Markets attacker Avi Eisenberg has requested the court to dismiss fraud and manipulation charges and grant a retrial. Court motions reveal that Eisenberg's legal team argues that the Southern District of New York is not the appropriate venue for the trial. They also claim that the government has not proven Eisenberg's intent to manipulate the perpetual contract prices of Mango Markets. The next hearing is scheduled for November 13.

Previously, Foresight News reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) charged Avraham Eisenberg in January last year for orchestrating an attack on Mango Markets and stealing approximately $116 million worth of crypto assets from the platform.
