One tip to avoiding the totally BS coins, anything that somehow pumps in a market crash is probably all manipulated.
Don't ever trade these, it's pumping even at a bear market not because it is so good. It has one driver behind the wheels, he chooses the destination, you are a passenger as soon as you trade it.
You might be lucky to leave the bus in a better location but you could also get sent to the shadow realm. Would you really take this chance? Absolutely not.
It is no secret that probably the majority of the coins are somewhat manipulated. There are no regulations and the market goes 24/7. But even in this system, some coins are worse. Don't donate money to the manipulators.
Shorting these coins are also a nono. They will just pump even up to 100% in a SINGLE DAY out of nowhere. You are a sitting duck as soon as you get into these shit. But you are a human with a brain, so no need to volunteer as a duck.
