Next Meme Coin to Keep an Eye On Now That Floki Is Doing Well
It would seem that the market leader is having a bad day for the famous meme currency and soon-to-be trading bot Floki ($FLOKI), which was named after Elon Musk's Shiba Inu pet.
With a 0.6% increase in value over the last 24 hours, Floki is now trading at $0.0001491.
The market leader and most popular cryptocurrency, Bitcoin ($BTC), stands in stark contrast to this. The current price of Bitcoin is $58,280, a decrease of 0.5%.
We find the exact opposite when we look at their seven-day performances, however. Bitcoin increased by almost 1% throughout the week, while Floki fell by 2.4%.
Floki's results are comparable to those of Dogecoin ($DOGE), the leading meme currency.
Despite a 0.4% increase overnight, Dogecoin's price dropped almost 2% week-to-week, reaching $0.1092.
Since last week, holders of two specific Shiba Inu meme coins have made a substantial profit. Shiba Inu currency ($SHIB), Dogecoin's main competitor on Ethereum, gained 8.2% and is now trading at $0.00001657. Meanwhile, investors of Solana's BONK ($BONK) coin saw a 15.7% increase to $0.00002587.
Analysis of the Floki Price
Tokens selling at about their present support level—somewhere between $0.00012 and $0.00014—are visible on the Floki price chart.
The token's value has dropped 57% since early June, when it hit a new all-time high of $0.0003449.
The emergence of fresh resistance around $0.00018 suggests that recovering lost territory may be challenging in the near future.
