🚀 Sonic, a Solana gaming Layer 2 network, is teaming up with Neon Stack to integrate EVM compatibility into the Sonic Virtual Machine (SVM)! This exciting partnership will make it easier for Ethereum developers to deploy EVM-powered dApps on Sonic’s HyperGrid Layer 2 platform, specifically optimized for gaming. 🎮

Sonic's CEO, Chris Zhu, is thrilled to bring Web3 games built on EVMs into the Solana ecosystem, one of the most active and engaged user bases in the blockchain industry. This initiative will help address the challenge of blockchain gaming fragmentation and ensure smooth Ethereum-native transactions on Sonic’s SVM.

Neon EVM, an Ethereum Virtual Machine, allows developers to easily create and deploy dApps from EVM-compatible blockchains to Solana. Sonic's Layer 2 network, designed for high-volume dApps, will simplify the process of migrating EVM-based dApps to Solana.

Sonic's HyperGrid technology enables it to process millions of requests per second, finalized on the Solana Layer 1 blockchain. This integration combines Sonic’s Layer 2 network's speed and high throughput with Solana's inherent security and strong finality.

In other news, Sonic recently raised $12 million in a Series A funding round, led by Bitkraft Ventures, boosting its fully diluted valuation to $100 million. 💰
