SEC to Close Office Behind Failed DEBT Box Crypto Lawsuit !
The SEC's Salt Lake City office will close after staff attrition following a failed fraud lawsuit against DEBT Box.
Lawyers Michael Welsh and Joseph Watkins resigned after being sanctioned for "gross abuse of power.
"A judge dismissed the case and ordered the SEC to pay $1.8 million in legal fees.
The Denver office will take over enforcement jurisdiction.
