😲 Turkish Phenomenon Claims Wallet Hack After Raising $90K for Memecoin 🤑
A Turkish crypto influencer known as The Pau claimed that $90,000 he collected for issuing a memecoin was stolen.
Despite the ongoing pre-sale memecoin craze, a scandal erupted on the Turkish side. The Pau, a well-known figure in the Turkish crypto community, sparked controversy with his memecoin, BRO, which he intended to launch through pre-sale. He collected nearly $90,000 for this project.
In a social media post, The Pau announced that all assets in the wallet had been stolen. This claim attracted global attention and criticism, with some investors suspecting it was a joke.
Screenshots shared by The Pau showed that #SOL tokens were converted to #USDC and transferred to another wallet. This incident has heightened reactions among Turkish crypto investors, many of whom are demanding the return of their funds.
The Pau addressed the situation, saying," My main wallet, the wallet that distributed the BRO contract, and the wallet containing the funds were stolen. I only had these on one device and was careful. "This feels so bad, and I don't know what to do. Damn it."
