According to BlockBeats, on July 3rd, data from fork.lol revealed that the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network's total hashrate, or computational power, surged by 188% in the morning, rising from 3.55 EH/s to a peak of 9.21 EH/s. In addition to this, the BCH network's hourly block production also saw a corresponding increase. It rose from generating 5 blocks per hour in the early morning to a high of 17.5 blocks per hour, and has since fallen back to 11.5 blocks per hour.
