According to Odaily, Lookonchain, a blockchain monitoring platform, reported on June 19 that there has been a significant reduction in Bitcoin holdings by Grayscale and nine Bitcoin ETFs. Grayscale, a major player in the cryptocurrency market, has reportedly reduced its Bitcoin holdings by 56, equivalent to approximately $3.6 million. Despite this reduction, Grayscale still holds a substantial amount of Bitcoin, with 280,322 units valued at approximately $18.22 billion.
In addition to Grayscale, nine Bitcoin ETFs have also reduced their holdings. The total reduction across these ETFs is 442 Bitcoins, which is equivalent to approximately $28.7 million. This reduction in holdings by major players in the market could potentially have significant implications for the overall cryptocurrency market. However, the specific reasons behind these reductions have not been disclosed.
