According to Foresight News, Polygon Labs has proposed the integration of Polygon PoS into AggLayer. This is being discussed as the first phase of the transition of Polygon PoS to zkPoS, as per the pre-proposal discussions in the Polygon governance forum.
In previous news from Foresight News, the Polygon engineering team had proposed an upgrade of the Polygon POS chain to zkEVM Validium. This new proposal by Polygon Labs is seen as a continuation of the team's efforts to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the Polygon POS chain.
The integration of Polygon PoS into AggLayer is expected to bring about significant improvements in the system's performance.
