According to U.Today, SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk has made bold predictions about space exploration, stating that humans will land on the moon within the next five years and on Mars within the next seven years. These statements have sparked discussions among social media users, with many expressing skepticism about the feasibility of such near-future predictions. Musk's previous predictions included the establishment of a human colony on Mars within five years, and he recently stated that he expects such a colony to take approximately 20 years to become self-sustainable.

In addition to his space exploration ambitions, Musk is also known for his involvement in the cryptocurrency community, particularly as a major Dogecoin enthusiast. As a result, SpaceX now accepts Dogecoin for its lunar missions. In 2021, Musk announced plans to launch a satellite into a lunar orbit, the DOGE-1 mission, which was to be paid for in Dogecoin. However, due to various reasons, the mission was delayed and did not take place in 2021. This year, SpaceX accepted another large Dogecoin payment from the initial customer, Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC), for the mission, although a new date for the mission has not yet been announced.

Musk has also made predictions about the future of artificial intelligence (AI). He recently stated that he expects AI to surpass human intelligence by the end of 2025. He previously stated that within three years, AI will be capable of performing any task that humans can do, including writing novels, discovering new principles of physics, and creating other significant contributions that were previously only possible by humans.
