According to Foresight News, John Riggins, partner at BTC Inc and founder of Bitcoin Magazine, made a bold prediction during his keynote speech at the 2024 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival. He stated that the scale of the Bitcoin ecosystem and its native assets will surpass $500 billion in the next five years.
Riggins pointed out that the market size of ERC-20 is roughly equivalent to the market value of ETH. However, there is a significant gap between the market size of BRC-20 and the market value of BTC, suggesting a potential for 100-fold growth.
