A few days ago, I shared an important warning about the so-called BIO airdrop website (bioairdrop.in). I thoroughly investigated the matter and declared that this website was a complete scam. Yet, many ignored the warning, created referrals, and even invested their hard-earned money. Today, the truth is undeniable—the scammers have disappeared, leaving everyone with nothing.

What Happened?
If you visit the fraudulent website now, all you’ll see is a 404 error page, as shown in the screenshot. This clearly means the scammers have shut down their fake operation and run away with everything they gained.
This was their plan all along:
1. Deceive Users with Fake Promises: Offering BIO tokens through referral programs and airdrops.
2. Encourage Referrals: Luring people into bringing more victims into their trap.
3. Steal Money: Asking users to pay “fees” or deposit funds to unlock fake rewards.
4. Disappear Without a Trace: Once they’ve stolen enough, they shut down their operation.
I Tried to Warn You
When I first discovered this scam, I took it upon myself to investigate and warn the community. I made it clear:
Bio Protocol is not running any airdrops or referral campaigns.
The official website is https://www.bio.xyz/, and all other websites are fake.
Any Telegram bots or referral schemes linked to BIO tokens are scams.
Unfortunately, many ignored these warnings, thinking they could earn easy money.
The Aftermath: Losses Everywhere
Countless victims are now left empty-handed:
Some spent hours creating referrals for fake rewards.
Others paid money to “unlock” tokens they’ll never receive.
Many shared their wallet details, exposing themselves to further risks.
This isn’t just a loss of money—it’s a painful reminder that greed and carelessness can lead to devastating consequences.
How to Avoid Scams Like This in the Future
1. Verify Official Sources: Always cross-check with the official website, https://www.bio.xyz/.
2. Never Pay Fees for Rewards: Legitimate projects will never ask for money to unlock tokens.
3. Be Skeptical of Referral Programs: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
4. Stay Updated: Follow reliable sources to stay informed about scams and legitimate projects.
Final Words
I hope this incident serves as a wake-up call for everyone. The scammers behind bioairdrop.in are gone, but they’ve left behind a trail of disappointment and loss. Let’s learn from this and protect ourselves in the future.
