WTF Academy founder 0xAA recently announced on social media that 110 million SCIHUBs have been transferred to the Solana donation address of the Sci-Hub founder. A donation plan is set to begin on December 16, 2024, with 1% of SCIHUBs being donated on the 16th of each month for 9 consecutive months, totaling 90 million SCIHUBs.
This amounts to 20% of the total circulation. Alexandra Elbakyan, the Sci-Hub founder, also promised to sell up to 1% of the total supply of SCIHUBs (10 million coins) every month, provided the token price remains stable and the value of 10 million coins stays above US$20,000.
