ConsenSys, a developer of Ethereum infrastructure, has recently completed a US$200 million financing round at a valuation of US$3.2 billion. Investors in this round include Animoca Brands, Coinbase Ventures, HSBC, Marshall Wace, Third Point, ParaFi Capital, Think Investments, and others. Among ConsenSys products are MetaMask, an Ethereum wallet with 21 million monthly active users, and Infura, a technology stack and developer tools for interacting with Ethereum.
ConsenSys reports that 350,000 developers currently use Infura.
