#Bitcoin American SEC President Gensler;

Gary Gensler, chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), made statements regarding the SEC's enforcement actions in his speech before the 2023 Securities Enforcement Forum. Gensler stated that the SEC filed more than 780 enforcement cases in total, including more than 500 independent cases, in 2023, and imposed judgments and penalties worth $ 5 billion as a result of these cases. He also stated that a portion of $930 million was refunded to the damaged investors.

The SEC chairman reiterated his stance on the cryptocurrency industry in his speech, arguing that most crypto assets fall into the category of securities and should therefore be addressed by law.
