What are the rules of trading and what is RR (I am often asked what 0,5R 1R 3R means).
Let's go in order: in my trading model I use risk for each signal -1% of my deposit -1R (get used to the correct abbreviation).
it means that if my deposit is 1000$, I use 10$ (1%-1R) risk.
my stop should not exceed this amount !
in case the signal goes in my direction at least I can earn 0.5R(5$) but I want to have from 1 to 3R (10-30$ is my goal )
Understand that behind the beautiful picture with PNL 200-300% can be profit only 1-1,5RR
and sometimes 30-70% PNL can be 1,2-2RR.
You think that if your deposit is 100$ then it is not suitable for you and you are trying to earn 50-100R to your deposit on one signal.
But imagine that you got 10 000$ in management what are your actions?
you will open 1 signal for 7 000$ or 5 000$ or maybe for 2000$???
No matter what your deposit is, it all starts with the ability to understand and competently manage your capital!
If you can't hold a deposit of 100$, you won't hold 1000$ or 500$ or even 10 000$.
