The global crypto has entered the weekend on a bearish note. Over the last 24 hours, heavy liquidation of over $200 million was recorded within this time, with the bulk of it involving long traders. Consequently, the total market valuation declined by 0.03%, resting at $2.13 trillion. However, the total trading volume spiked by 6% to reach $69.58 billion.

Notably, Bitcoin traded as high as $64k earlier this week but has plummeted to around $60,000 at the time of writing. Also, the altcoin market currently shows varied movements with some coins trading in green and others in red. General market sentiment has dropped to ‘fear’ as per the crypto fear and greed index data, indicating a lack of investors’ confidence in the market trajectory. Top Crypto Prices Today

The price of Bitcoin saw a sharp decline to $58k in the early Asian trading hours today, however, it soon made a rebound, recovering some of its losses. At the time of writing, on-chain data showed that BTC traded at $60,661, indicating a 0.44% decline in the last 24 hours.

However, its one-day trading volume jumped by 10% to reach $30.32 billion. Additionally, Soso Value data suggest that Bitcoin ETFs saw a total daily outflow of $120.76 million as of October 10. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s market cap is at $1.20 trillion.

Earlier today, Coinfomania reported an increase in the Bitcoin selling pressure after a whale disposed of 800 BTC, selling at a loss amid the price downtrend. Moreover, on-chain data revealed that more than 30k BTC has been sold off by these large entities within three days, which could be one of the catalysts behind the current downward momentum experienced.

Leading the altcoin market, Ethereum, the second-largest crypto by market cap, recorded a marginal increase in its value over the last day. According to CoinMarketCap data, the coin jumped by 0.86% to change hands at $2,403. Also, its trading volume increased by 3.81% to $15.08 billion with a live market cap of $289.3 billion.

After some days of $0 ETF inflows, Ethereum exchange-traded funds products saw a $3.06 million daily total inflow as of October 11.

Other Altcoin Prices

The Solana price increased notably by 2.03% and is now exchanging at $141.60. The coin experienced an intraday low and high of $135.62 and $141.83, respectively. Solana’s market cap was at $66.4 billion at the time of writing.

The XRP price surged by 2.26% in the past 24 hours and is now trading at $0.5378. Its 24-hour bottom and top touched $0.5238 and $0.5403, respectively. Moreover, XRP’s market cap touched $30.4 billion today.

Binance-backed BNB coin declined marginally by 0.66% to trade at $563.75 and maintained a 24-hour trading range of $551.82 and $570.41 respectively. The TRX price dropped by 0.28% of its value to change hands at $0.1588 with a 24-hour trading range of $0.1579 and $0.1602 respectively.

Meanwhile, Toncoin (TON) recorded the highest gains among the top 10 cryptocurrencies. Per CMC data, TON increased by 2.96% to trade at $5.19. Amid the price hike, its one-day trading volume plummeted by 16.12% to reach $155.52 million. Ultimately TON traded between the range of $4.99 and $5.19 in the last 24 hours.
