Mythos is experiencing a surge in activity on the Polkadot network, achieving over 3.6 million account creations. This significant growth comes after Mythical Games migrated its Mythical Market to Polkadot in July. Mythos is also transitioning both the Blankos collection and D-Market to the platform. Kasper Joergensen, the CFO of Mythical Games, shared this strategic news with the community, stating,

“We are migrating both the Blankos collection to Mythical Market as well as D-Market to Polkadot. This is currently in excess of 5M wallets being migrated to Polkadot,”

Mythos’ Migration Enhances Gaming Experience

Mythical Games, known for popular titles like NFL Rivals, has integrated as a parachain within the Polkadot ecosystem. This integration utilizes Polkadot’s EVM module, ensuring address compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Consequently, developers can leverage the WebAssembly-based Substrate framework for enhanced functionality.

NFT Marketplace Growth

Kasper Joergensen highlighted that DMarket remains the largest NFT collection globally, achieving daily sales exceeding $600,000. Gamers actively buy and sell in-game assets, with around 25,000 daily transactions. While Mythical Market primarily focuses on NFL Rivals, it will soon incorporate other collections, including Blankos and Nitro Nation.

Mythos is supporting NFL Rivals and expanding by migrating its Mythical Market and NFT collections to Polkadot. John Linden, CEO of Mythical Games, emphasized that this integration is part of a broader strategy to enhance the secondary trading of gaming assets.

The platform’s decentralized architecture guarantees that all transactions on the Mythos Chain are transparent and secure, establishing itself as a key player in the gaming blockchain sector. The company specializes in developing games with player economy mechanics and has worked on projects such as Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, and Marvel Strike Force. It presents consumers with the Mythical Platform for gaming wallets, where customers get both custodial and non-custodial wallets regardless of their consumer experience abilities.
