Arbitrum One Soars Past 1 Billion Transactions, Dominating the Layer 2 Landscape
In a remarkable achievement, Arbitrum One has surpassed 1 billion transactions just three years after its mainnet launch, solidifying its position as the top Layer 2 solution for Ethereum. This milestone showcases its growing dominance, with transaction volumes outpacing even its closest competitors. Base, another rising Layer 2, trails behind with 755 million transactions, while OP Mainnet logs 347 million.
But it’s not just transaction volume where Arbitrum leads. It also boasts the highest Total Value Locked (TVL) among Layer 2 blockchains, with an impressive $2.5 billion locked in its ecosystem. Base, in comparison, holds a close $2.2 billion.
