MicroStrategy expands Bitcoin holdings with $1.1 Billion purchase

#MicroStrategy has purchased an additional 18,300 bitcoins $BTC for approximately $1.1 billion, bringing its total holdings to 244,800 bitcoins, valued around $14 billion. This acquisition, made between August 6 and September 12, was financed through the sale of company shares, as detailed in an SEC filing. The average purchase price for these new bitcoins was $60,408 each. Including previous purchases, MicroStrategy has spent about $9.45 billion on its #bitcoin holdings, with an average acquisition cost of $38,585 per bitcoin.
