🚨🚨😳😳19-Year-Old Singaporean Crypto Trader Ambushed During USDT Exchange😳😳🚨🚨
According to BlockBeats, on September 5, Protos reported that a 19-year-old Singaporean crypto trader, identified as “ZK,” was ambushed while attempting to exchange 32,000 Singapore dollars (approximately 24,000 USD) for USDT. The incident took place during a face-to-face transaction that quickly turned dangerous.
ZK had arranged the deal via Telegram with a seller he had never traded with before. Though initially set to meet at a public mall, the seller changed the location last minute to a nearby parking lot. While there, two men, who appeared to be bystanders, suddenly attacked ZK, punching him in the face. Fearing for his safety and that the attackers were after his cash, ZK fled to a nearby shopping mall, shouting for help. The men chased him but were eventually shaken off, and ZK reported the incident to the police.
ZK explained that he opted for an in-person transaction to avoid paying high transaction fees, something he found unreasonable given the frequency of his trades. Fortunately, Singaporean authorities have since arrested two suspects, aged 20 and 21, in connection with the attempted robbery.
