Ripple tests new stablecoin RLUSD on XRP Ledger and Ethereum

Ripple has initiated testing of its #stablecoin , Ripple USD $RLUSD, on both the #XRP Ledger and #Ethereum networks. The company announced on X that RLUSD is currently in a private beta phase and is not yet approved for regulatory use or available for trading. #Ripple cautioned against potential scams involving the stablecoin. Ripple President Monica Long previously stated that RLUSD is designed to complement the $XRP cryptocurrency.
