According to Decrypt, the venues of the Paris 2024 Olympics and dozens of museum stores in France have been hit by a cyber attack, with hackers demanding a cryptocurrency ransom. The hackers used the data processing systems of about 40 tourist attractions to collect sensitive financial data, with the attacked venues including the Grand Palais Museum. The French Cybercrime Fighting Brigade (BL2C) is investigating the attack.
