According to Odaily, the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) has released a new report highlighting that the trend of EU blockchain projects has moved beyond the hype cycle and is now focused on demonstrating 'practicality across industries and the public sector.' The report emphasizes key public infrastructure initiatives such as the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) and the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum (EUBOF), which are crucial in shaping Europe's digital future. Other projects that have proven essential in enhancing transparency and efficiency in supply chain management within the EU region are centered on supply chain and digital product passports (DPP).
INATBA also notes that the next decade will be 'critical' for blockchain products in terms of enhancing security, automation, governance, and efficiency. The report suggests that public institutions and businesses must 'invest heavily' to remain competitive and sustainable.
