🚀 Circle's euro-backed stablecoin, EURC, has landed on the Base network, marking its first appearance on an Ethereum layer-2. Previously, it was only available in its native form on Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Stellar. Circle claims this move will make global e-commerce transactions smoother. The Base versions of EURC and USDC are the first stablecoins on Base to comply with the new MiCA regulation. Meanwhile, Bitstamp has delisted Tether Euro (EURT) for alleged non-compliance. Base users eager to exchange euros for dollars may have to wait, as some exchanges haven't listed the new coin yet. But hey, who said crypto was a fast game? 🐢
