Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) Layer 2 blockchain Fhenix, has announced Encryption Day as an EthCC side event in Brussels. The one-day developer event, which will be held in the Belgian capital on July 9, will go over useful applications for ZK, FHE, and MPC inside the Ethereum ecosystem.
Ethereum developers who are interested in developing solutions that provide strong onchain privacy will come together for the second Encryption Day event. The day-long event, which is the premier meeting for developers interested in encryption and cryptography, has already attracted over 1,100 registrations.
Encryption Day, which will take place at Ace Events, Av. d’Auderghem 22 in Brussels, will include keynote speeches from a variety of esteemed experts, including entrepreneurs and programmers. Ed Felten, co-founder of Arbitrum, and Justin Drake, ZK researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, are confirmed speakers for the event. In addition, representatives of RISC Zero, ZKSync, Gauntlet, Aztec, Fhenix, Zama, and StarkWare will be present.
Throughout the seven-hour event, attendees will be treated to a range of presentations and panel discussions on encryption within the Ethereum ecosystem. These will include a talk on Secure and Confidential AI by the Fhenix team and a panel discussion about the distinctions between ZK and FHE technology by representatives of Polygon, ZKSync, and Fhenix. The Ethereum Foundation will talk about encrypted mempools, while other keynotes and panels will address subjects like confidential deFi and end-to-end encrypted blockchains.
The event will discuss trends in cryptography that define Ethereum’s ecosystem and provide insights into the most recent advancements in privacy technology. Developers, cryptography enthusiasts, and everyone else with a passion for blockchain and privacy are the target audience for Encryption Day. There are still spots available for anyone who would want to go to the event.
Encryption Day will function as an adjunct event to EthCC, the yearly Ethereum community conference taking place in Brussels from July 8–11. To spread information about blockchain technology and the core use cases and developments of Ethereum, it consists of conferences, seminars, and panel discussions.
