2024 Altcoin Rally Predictions Started to Come: Famous Analysts Are Preparing for Bitcoin Super Bull Period.

As the crypto bull market eases in the middle of the second quarter of 2024, analysts are trying to combat FUD with super bullish altcoin predictions.

Popular crypto account Altcoin Daily published a long list of predictions earlier this week, predicting that #Bitcoin (BTC) would reach $120,000, #Ether (ETH) would reach $8,800, and #Solana (SOL) would reach $720.

According to these predictions, Bitcoin will increase by almost 100% to $ 60,600, while Ether and Solana will gain 200% and 400% respectively.

Another popular crypto analyst, Deezy.eth, shared his own predictions. He predicts Cardano (ADA) will rise 13.25x (1.225%) from current levels, rising from $0.445 to $5.90.
He predicts #XRP (XRP) to rise to $1.80 and #Dogecoin (DOGE) to rise to $0.50. This means an increase of 260% and 250% respectively.

These super bullish altcoin predictions come at a time when FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) is increasing in the crypto market. Many altcoins and meme coins rose between February and March as Bitcoin reached new record highs above $70,000.

However, sharp corrections were seen in the market due to the decline in interest in spot Bitcoin ETFs and the impact of macroeconomic headwinds.

While Bitcoin fell 17% from its March high of $74,000, many altcoins experienced steeper declines: Solana lost 30%, XRP lost 32%, Dogecoin lost 37%, and Cardano lost 45%.
Historically, it is known that post-halving BTC rallies usually begin within 4-6 months. It was expected that the halving in April would not immediately trigger an upward wave. The post-halving recession usually coincides with the summer season in the crypto market, along with the consolidation process.

Therefore, a sudden rally should not be expected, but there is no denying the fact that we are in the middle of a new bull market. However, 10x Research warned that unlocking tokens could hinder the altcoin rally if VCs (venture capital) back out.

What Is the Atomicals Protocol?

Atomicals is a free, open-source protocol that provides a flexible way of creating digital objects on Bitcoin or any other blockchain that adopts the same UTXO model. Each digital object is called an “Atomical” or “atom” and basically consists of a chain of digital ownership, which follows a set of simple rules.

The Atomicals protocol can be used to mint, transfer, and update all sorts of static or dynamic digital objects, including fungible tokens and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). What Is ARC-20?

Each ARC-20 token is linked to the value of at least one satoshi, the smallest unit of Bitcoin. This means that, by design, the value of each ARC-20 cannot go below 1 satoshi. Proof of reserves reveals size of assets held on Binance

#Binance , the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, published its fifth reserve proof, revealing the size of the assets held on the platform. As of May 1, while the amount of Bitcoin on the stock exchange increased by 2.28% and reached 581 thousand 758, the amount of #Ethereum decreased by 1.97% to 4 million 358 thousand 684.

Binance's reserve evidence shows that the assets held by users on the platform can be covered at a 1:1 ratio. This evidence does not include the company's corporate assets.
There was also a significant increase in the users' Tether (USDT) amount. With an increase of 1.69 billion USDT, the total amount of #USDT increased to 22.85 billion.

It is also noted that 40.7 million BNB and 31.7 million #Solana (SOL) are held in Binance wallets.

1,100 ETH robbery from crypto hacker: What's going on?

The transfer transactions of the hacker who attacked the cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex created panic in the users.

According to onchain data from security firm PeckShield, the hacker responsible for last year's Poloniex attack transferred 1,100 #Ethereum (ETH), worth approximately $3.4 million, to US-sanctioned cryptocurrency mixer Tornado Cash in an attempt to launder the stolen funds.

Poloniex was emptied of $100 million during an attack on one of its hot wallets in November last year. Services like Tornado Cash are often used by cybercriminals to hide the trail of stolen cryptocurrency.

This attack is widely accepted to be the work of North Korea's Lazarus Group, a notorious state-sponsored hacking organization that has previously carried out high-profile attacks including a $600 million hack on the Ronin sidechain. In an earlier onchain message, Poloniex offered the attacker a 5 percent reward (about $5 million) to return the remaining 95 percent of the stolen funds.

In a separate transaction involving Tornado Cash, an attacker linked to the $26 million hack at Kronos Research transferred 200 ETH today, PeckShield noted. Notably, Kronos Research also fell victim to the attack in November last year, but it remains unclear whether the two incidents are directly linked.

This move by the Poloniex crypto attacker caused concern not only among exchange users but also in the crypto market in general.

It is possible that we may see another attempt to move towards the resistance area and we will have to wait and see if the price can break above it and close. So far, there has been no significant change in the market.
