据 ApeCoin DAO 官方消息，本次选举将选出 3 位提名者加入 ApeCoin DAO 特别委员会，并从 2024 年 1 月 1 日开启新一轮的社区治理。

比起竞选更值得注意的是这个特别委员会，以及背后的 ApeCoin DAO 近日的频繁动作。

成员一度众星云集，如今社区就其薪资问题展开讨论

针对 ApeCoin DAO 的这个特别委员会，当前的社区有不少成员颇具微词，但曾经的特别委员会却一度「众星云集」。

2022 年 3 月，ApeCoin DAO 和 ApeCoin 同期问世。ApeCoin 是由 Yuga Labs 发行的 Bored Ape Yacht Club（后文简称 BAYC）NFT 生态的原生代币，而 ApeCoin DAO 则是专门用来营运代币相关事务的去中心化自治组织。任何 ApeCoin 的持有人皆为 ApeCoin DAO 的成员，一同在基金分配、治理规则、合作伙伴等方面的事情上做出决策。

起初，为了促进去中心化及由社群主导的治理，Ape 基金会因此成立，其就像 ApeCoin 的管家，任务是管理 ApeCoin DAO 的决策，并负责日常行政、纪录、专案管理等事务，以确保 DAO 社群的想法能顺利进行。

而 Ape 基金会也成立了一个特别的委员会，也就是 ApeCoin DAO 的特别委员会，专门负责对基金会的管理者进行监督，并管理 DAO 提案及服务社群。

该特别委员会最初由 5 名成员组成，任期为 6 个月，之后 DAO 成员将每年对董事会成员进行投票。在成立之初，这个特别委员会可谓「众星云集」。

初始的委员会成员包括 Reddit 的联创 Alexis Ohanian、FTX 风投及游戏主管 Amy Wu、Sound 风投负责人 Maaria Bajwa、Animoca Brands 联创 Yat Siu、以及 Horizen Labs 执行长及法律顾问 Dean Steinbeck。

但在随后的 2022 年 11 月 20 日，ApeCoin（@apecoin）却在官方社交媒体宣布，Maaria、Dean 和 Amy 辞去 了 ApeCoin DAO 特别委员会的职务，并且不会在即将到来的选举中再次参选。

失去了三位明星大将的 ApeCoin DAO 特别委员会虽仍旧照常运作，但近日社区却出现了对该委员会成员薪资问题的讨论。

10 月 20 日，据 Snapshot 页面显示，ApeCoin DAO 社区开启了「将特别委员会成员薪酬减少 50％」（从每月 20,833 ApeCoin 降至每月 10,417 ApeCoin）提案的投票。在该提案中指出，从财务角度来看，此举能让 ApeCoin DAO 有望每月节省高达 104,165 ApeCoin 的成本。

值得注意的是，该投票已于 10 月 26 日结束，结果虽然为不通过，但支持和反对的声音差距并不大（58.22% 反对、41.78% 赞成），也就意味着的确有不少社区成员认为该特别委员会的成员薪资不应过高。

支持该提案的声音表示，特别委员会的工作不是扩大或让代币增值，它主要只是行政工作：「所以代币表现好与不好我相信对他们来说并不重要。因此，在我看来，以高薪吸引人才的情况有点灰色地带。」

而反对该提案的声音指出「薪资审查应该在确定审查委员会的期望、时间/小时/职能等以及你想吸引的人类型之后进行……目前的薪资可能被认为极低，无法吸引人才……削减薪水很容易，但如果没有背景和我们正在努力实现的目标，那么它实际上只是触及了表面。」

ApeCoin DAO 新提案：或在 Optimism 部署 ApeChain

而在关于其特别委员会的讨论之外，BlockBeats 注意到，ApeCoin DAO 近日的提案也有着颇多值得注意的地方。

11 月 22 日，Optimism 联合创始人兼首席科学家 Ben Jones 提议，ApeCoin DAO 可以在 Optimism Superchain 上开发和维护其 L2 网络 ApeChain。

Ben Jones 表示，这样可以帮助 ApeCoin DAO 轻松部署和维护，同时 ApeCoin DAO 可在 Optimism 平台上发表意见，例如积极参与治理、帮助引导 Superchain 的未来方向，同时还可以创造收入流以及创新机会。

就在同一天 ApeCoin DAO 的网站上，便出现了这样一个新提案，该提案旨在任命一个专门的团队来部署、管理和运营 ApeChain。

提案指出，团队选择支持 Layer-2 rollups，致力于在 Optimism 上部署 ApeChain，作为 Optimism 超级链生态系统的一部分，并计划成为 Optimism 基金会的核心贡献者。该提案强调，Optimism 已承诺通过基于里程碑的代币授予高达 2000 万个 OP 来支持 ApeChain。

而该提案中提到的推荐团队，与曾经的 ApeCoin DAO 特别委员会创始成员一样，也是众星云集。

该提案希望这个团队由前以太坊基金会开发人员 Nicholas Lin、Velodrome Finance 的技术联合创始人 Jimmy X、Olympus DAO 前首席工程师 Indigo、OlympusDAO 前协议架构师 Fully、Solend 联创 Exodia、Solend 联创 Rooter、Solend 首席技术官 Nope、Solend 创始后端工程师 Dasichuan、前 Two Sigma 工程师 Ripleys、AnotherWorld.gg 的 web3 游戏/元宇宙构建者 Jackie Lee、X Marketplace 联创 Bradley、MetaCartel Ventures 创始成员 Lumberg、DeFi OG MachiBigBrother 组成。

与此同时，该提案还提到，与 ApeChain 的部署、管理和运营相关的成本可以通过启动 ApeChain (AC) 代币或以其他方式请求 ApeCoin 赠款来处理。如果 DAO 选择推出 ApeChain 代币，ApeChain 团队将负责筹集资金以资助所有运营，AC 代币将作为治理代币分发给 ApeCoin 质押者。
