Solana Foundation is launching new products aimed at facilitating mass user onboarding to the Solana ecosystem. The first product, "Actions", allows users to carry out crypto transactions on regular websites, social media platforms, and QR codes. The second product, "Blinks", transforms any "Action" into a shareable link. Several teams, including Cubik, Sanctum, Tensor, Realms, Access, and Jupiter, have already signed up to test these new products.

Jon Wong, Head of Ecosystem Engineering at Solana Foundation, stated that these tools enable any website or application on the internet to serve as a distribution point for on-chain interactions, thus promoting mainstream adoption. Solana's "Blinks" use a similar concept to Farcaster's Frames on Ethereum, but are not limited to a single application and can be used across various platforms.

Chris Osborn, CEO of Dialect Labs, a Solana-based smart messaging protocol, praised the new products for making experiences portable, shareable, and actionable on any surface, thus enabling a variety of actions such as buying NFTs, tipping creators, receiving money, voting, staking, swapping, and more.
