Apple has announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into its iOS, iPadOS, and macOS platforms, set to be available later this year. This integration will allow users to access advanced AI capabilities directly through their Apple devices. Additionally, Apple unveiled several new features and updates during its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), including the introduction of a calculator app for iPad, dark mode for app icons, the ability to place app icons anywhere on the home screen, and the launch of Apple Intelligence, described as a personal, powerful, and private AI integrated into everyday apps. Elon Musk has expressed concerns about the integration, stating that he may ban all Apple devices at his companies if Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, citing it as an unacceptable security violation.
