🎨Yuga Labs, the NFT bigwig, is stepping back from the CryptoPunks project after a "woke" backlash from the crypto community over its new Super Punk World collection. The collection, a blend of 3D sculptures aiming to blur racial and gender lines, didn't sit well with some. One user even declared, "Yuga killed Punks today." 😲

CEO Greg Solano, however, is undeterred. He plans to connect Web3 with traditional art, possibly airdropping the controversial collection to SuperCoolWorld holders. As for CryptoPunks? They'll be "decentralized and preserved on the blockchain."

Despite the drama, CryptoPunks is still breaking sales records, with two pieces selling for a whopping $16 million and $16.4 million in March. 💰
