According to Odaily, blockchain infrastructure provider RISC Zero has announced the launch of Boundless, a verifiable computing layer designed to support developers in executing unrestricted operations on any blockchain. Boundless offers global composability and on-demand scalability, leveraging zero-knowledge (ZK) technology to enable verifiable off-chain execution for any blockchain. This allows applications to build off-chain while inheriting blockchain security, without limitations on blocks, transactions, or execution.

Boundless is set to support advanced applications, including decentralized exchanges (DEX) with centralized exchange (CEX)-like user experiences that access liquidity across all chains, verifiable AI interactions with on-chain results, and ZK-wrappers for centralized IDs. Meanwhile, RISC Zero's partners are actively testing and refining Boundless in preparation for the launch of a public testnet.
