According to Odaily, cross-chain interoperability protocol deBridge has announced the completion of the first phase of its points program and the official launch of the second phase. This marks a significant step towards the introduction of the DBR governance token. The first phase of the deBridge points program achieved several milestones, including over 2.3 million transactions, nearly 250,000 new users joining the deBridge ecosystem, more than $2 billion in cross-chain transaction volume, and nearly 1.4 billion points accumulated. The first phase snapshot was successfully completed on July 23, 2024. With the commencement of the second phase, all users will start accumulating new points from this moment, with point multipliers remaining the same as in the first phase until the official launch of the league system currently in development. Once the system is online, point multipliers will be adjusted accordingly. deBridge's innovative points program allocates points based on user activity and fees paid to the protocol, aiming to establish a positive and sustainable system. Points are awarded to users conducting cross-chain transactions through its applications and integration partners, which enable instant cross-chain transactions, as well as to referrers and community members who help spread the word, and to blockchain ecosystems connected to deBridge via IaaS. deBridge is described as the liquidity internet of DeFi, focusing on speed, security, and user experience, driving real-time value and information transfer across the DeFi sector. By enabling unified liquidity, free information exchange, and open access, deBridge transforms DeFi into a unified open market.
