According to U.Today, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of SHIB, recently made a public appearance at a major Web3 event in Kyoto, Japan. This appearance has stirred excitement within the SHIB community. Kusama, who uses a pseudonym for social media posts, arrived at the event with two bodyguards and a local translator. He was dressed in black, with two masks and a hood to hide his identity, and even had a katana behind his back. The SHIB community filled the social media platform with photos and videos of Kusama at the SHIB booth during the annual IVS 2024 conference in Kyoto.

Kusama expressed his gratitude to the organizers of IVS 2024 and the SHIB fans who came to meet him at the conference. He also announced that his next destination is Mumbai. Although he did not mention any plans for a 'meet and greet' in Mumbai, the community is hopeful and has extended invitations for him to visit other locations such as Dubai, California, and Delhi.

In other news, the SHIB price has seen a significant rebound of 19% over the last 24 hours. The second-largest meme cryptocurrency soared from $0.00001297 to $0.00001546. This rise in SHIB's price followed Bitcoin's rebound of 4.73%, which surged from slightly below $54,000 to the $56,590 zone. The surge in Bitcoin's price occurred after the release of the non-farm payrolls report, which was more positive than initially expected.
