According to Foresight News, RISC Zero, a zero-knowledge proof software developer, is partnering with Celestia to build a cross-chain bridge based on zkVM, named 'Blobstream Zero'. Blobstream Zero aims to connect Celestia's modular data availability layer with Ethereum, Optimism, Bitcoin, Solana, and others, allowing Rollups and applications to prove and verify the data availability (DA) of Celestia on any chain.
Blobstream Zero will carry out on-chain verification on all major chains, starting with Ethereum and gradually expanding to Optimism, Arbitrum, Solana, and Bitcoin. In the coming months, it will also introduce more features. Blobstream Zero will also allow applications to combine their execution of ZK proofs with recursive DA light client proofs and inclusion proofs to optimize existing and new use cases.
