According to Foresight News, hedge fund Numerai has announced the launch of its cryptocurrency market prediction platform, Numerai Crypto. The platform will be freely available for the next 12 months, allowing users to create accounts and use models to predict the prices of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. Users have the option to stake NMR tokens on their predictions, earning or burning NMR tokens based on the performance of their forecasts.
Numerai had previously launched a cryptocurrency project closely related to data science and artificial intelligence, Numeraire, in 2017. As part of this project, the cryptocurrency NMR was issued. The new platform, Numerai Crypto, represents an expansion of Numerai's offerings in the cryptocurrency space, providing users with tools to make informed predictions about cryptocurrency prices.
