According to Odaily, Wormhole has officially announced that while its Stake for Governance feature has adopted the MultiGov multi-chain governance system, it currently only supports EVM chains such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base. The addition of Solana support is planned for a later date.
As a result, users who wish to participate in W staking governance must transfer their W on Solana through Wormhole NTT to any supported EVM chain. Users are required to complete the transfer in accordance with the guidelines provided in the Wormhole governance portal, or they can use the Portal Bridge to transfer their W to a supported EVM chain in advance.
