Blum, the hybrid cryptocurrency exchange, is addressing concerns after several users reported discrepancies in their Blum Points (BPs) balances. On September 27, numerous users began sharing screenshots and voicing concerns on X, indicating that their points had unexpectedly decreased.

Blum crypto quickly responded to the growing concerns, confirming that some users might be seeing incorrect point balances due to a display glitch. In an official statement, the team reassured users that their points were safe.

Blum team r esponded to user’s concerns.

The Blum team assured users they were actively working on a fix, though no specific timeline was provided for the issue’s resolution.

The Blum platform operates a reward system called BPs. Users earn these points by completing tasks such as inviting friends and engaging with the platform. The points are currently used within the ecosystem for in-app boosts and other rewards, although there is speculation that they could eventually convert into a $BLUM token. A sudden decrease in user’s BPs led them to report this issue to the team.

This technical glitch follows a recent downtime experienced by Blum’s app on September 24. Users were temporarily unable to access the app. The company reassured users that their technical team was working to resolve the problem.

Ongoing Blum Airdrop and Token Listing Rumors

In recent months, Blum has been the subject of persistent rumors surrounding a potential token listing or airdrop. However, the company has consistently denied these claims. In May 2024, the team addressed speculation head-on, confirming that there was no official $BLUM token or NFT. The company warned users to be cautious of scams and misinformation.

Despite these statements, rumors continued to circulate within the crypto community. On September 16, 2024, Blum once again addressed these rumors, stating that September 20th was not the date for any token listing or airdrop. The company reiterated that any official announcements regarding a token or airdrop would only be made through its verified X account and Telegram channel.

Above all, Blum urged users to avoid unofficial sources and remain patient. As of now, there are no confirmed plans for a $BLUM token launch or airdrop.
