After several delays, the creators of the popular Telegram game Hamster Kombat are finally launching their HMSTR token and holding a big airdrop. Originally planned for July, the airdrop has been pushed to September 26, 2024. This change has led to a drop in the game’s active followers, from 155 million to 87 million, casting doubt over the token’s reliability.

Token Launch on Major Exchanges

Hamster Kombat is preparing to list its HMSTR token on major cryptocurrency exchanges like Binance, Bybit, Gate.io, and OKX. This listing will happen on September 26, 2024.

However, the HMSTR token is the primary in-game currency for the Hamster Kombat ecosystem. Players can earn HMSTR by taking part in battles, winning tournaments, and completing special challenges. 

Additionally, the token is used to buy, upgrade, and enhance hamster NFTs, which further enriches the strategic gameplay opportunities. With over 300 million players worldwide, this token listing is expected to strengthen the game’s ecosystem and offer more opportunities for both players and investors.

HMSTR Big Airdrop

Ahead of the token launch, Hamster Kombat will distribute over 1 billion HMSTR tokens via an airdrop on September 23, 2024. This airdrop aims to thank early supporters and bring back players who might have lost interest due to previous delays. 

Active players, NFT holders, and those who joined pre-launch events will receive these tokens.

In addition to the airdrop, the development team plans to roll out new features to keep players engaged. These updates may include new battle arenas, more NFTs, and community events like tournaments and leaderboards.

Currently, the pre-market trading on Gate.io has set the $HMSTR token price around $0.1140. Although it’s not yet listed on Binance, the community is working hard to get it listed, which could boost its trading volume and visibility. 

Analysts expect the token to start at $0.01 and potentially rise to $0.05 by the end of 2024, which would be a significant increase.
