Avalanche and ZKsync official Discord suffered a similar hacker attack as Polygon
On August 26, according to Cointelegraph, less than 48 hours after the Polygon Discord was hacked, the official Discord servers of AVA and SYN were also subjected to similar attacks. On August 25, the official AVA X account reported that the server had been compromised and warned users not to click on any links. The attackers posted fake token distribution plan links on both platforms. AVA community manager Ben Well stated that the issue has been resolved and they are working to restore the servers.
Previously, on August 24, Polygon's Chief Information Security Officer Mudit Gupta posted on social media that the Polygon community Discord had been attacked, and urged users not to click on any links within, as the team was working to regain control.
