CARV’s infrastructure-first strategy: Long-term Web3 gaming success
CARV, a project which aims to create a gaming data ownership and monetization ecosystem, wants to be the go-to place for gamers in Web3 games, enabling a variety of user experience across growing environments.
New Ethereum standard, CARV highlights
According to the speakers, this initiative gives prominence to CARV Play as well as CARV Protocol:
In CARV Play, players can link their Steam achievements together. The players then produce Generative Archive Tokens (GAT), which symbolize these achievements on-blockchain and keep track of them. GAT changes every time new milestones are achieved.
However, CARV Protocol is not about rewards only; it provides users with awards based on data. When connected to CARV Protocol via Steam, users obtain ‘soul’ points for time spent playing on private ways such as games played or accomplishments.

CARV ID, which is an ERC-721 extension, is the account or player’s digital passport. CARV's new standard, “ERC 7231: Identity Aggregated NFT,” connects Web2 and Web3 identities to NFTs and SBTs showing their gaming, social and past experiences.
Discovery tools using AI
Delio brought up CARV in-game quest discovery tool that can identify users by specific criteria: "Extraction shooter Shrapnel is looking for Southeast Asian first-person shooter players who own Shrapnel, Avalanche and other tokens. We can acquire such guys as well as hold them within Shrapnel. You get a share of what we pay for user acquisition if you give us data. Community building is another CARV Play pillar.
