Memecoins tied to President Joe Biden and his family have nosedived following Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race. The Joe Biden-linked Jeo Boden (BODEN) token dropped 62% in under two hours, wiping nearly $10 billion from its market cap. Tokens linked to Jill Biden and Hunter Biden also saw significant declines, falling 68.5% and 62%, respectively.

In contrast, the Kamala Horris (KAMA) token surged 133% amid speculation that Vice President Kamala Harris might replace Biden as the Democratic candidate. Although KAMA has since cooled off by 35%, Harris is now favored with 80% odds to step in.

Meanwhile, the MAGA memecoin associated with Donald Trump saw a modest 7% increase post-Biden's announcement. Biden has not disclosed his reasons for stepping down but intends to complete his current term.
