In that diagram, they are demonstrating how the Fractal Bitcoin protocol works when bridging layer 1 assets like BTC, BRC20, and Runes.
These assets will be wrapped versions of themselves, hence fbtc for Bitcoin fordi for Ordi fsats for Sats brc20 etc.
You will then swap these wrapped versions on Fractal, where it is likely that the FB token will be used for transaction fees as stated on their official website. (unless it is used for some form of other transactions fees🤷♂️)
