Donald Trump vows to build the future of Bitcoin in the USA.
He also says he will never allow the creation of a CBDC.
Both promises are similar to that of Robert Kennedy Jr. since much earlier in the campaign.
Former US President Donald Trump, running for this year’s Presidential campaign, has stated that he will protect and support self-custody for the nation’s 50 million crypto owners. He promises that the future of Bitcoin will be made in the USA and that he will never allow a CBDC to be created in the USA.

The US Presidential campaign is certainly heating up for the crypto industry as candidates continue to make crypto a central narrative to their campaigns. As we can see, over the last few months the US narrative for crypto adoption has slowly been swinging to the positive.
In particular, the bill to stop the SEC from hindering crypto adoption went through along with ETH ETF approval. Initially, Biden’s administration was going to hinder crypto growth in the US by vetoing the bill.
However, strong crypto support from opposing candidates Donant Trump, Robert Kennedy Jr. has Biden’s campaign reconsidering and held off on the veto. Meanwhile both pro crypto candidates have been taking Bitcoin and crypto donations leading to Biden requesting for more donations to match theirs.
In particular, Kennedy has been taking crypto donations since the start of his campaign and made his pro-Bitcoin stance very clear from the get go. In comparison, Donald Trump started taking crypto donations very recently.
Similarly, for the CBDC matter, Kennedy opposed it much earlier in the campaign and Trump stated so just recently. Kennedy also mentioned he intends to make sure that Bitcoin will never be taxed.
Also to note, Donald Trump said he would build a Bitcoin Army in his campaign against Biden. In contrast, Kennedy intends to use blockchain technology to put the US budget on it so US taxpayers can see how their funds are being utilized by the government in total transparency.
