The Twitter account Shibburn has shared the amount of tokens burned by Shiba Inu in the past seven days. According to Shibburn, a total of 282,730,986 SHIB tokens were burned in 22 transactions during the past week.

In previous weeks, the amount of SHIB tokens burned reached billions. Last week, 4 billion tokens were burned.

In the last 24 hours, a significant amount of 45,125,167 SHIB tokens were burned in eight transactions. However, the burning rate of Shiba Inu has decreased by 87.33% in the past 24 hours.

After the recent major sell-off, the price of Shiba Inu recorded an approximately 11% increase. The price has gained 6.87% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading around $0.0000068.

A few days ago, the popular meme coin faced a significant sell-off. As a result, it experienced a 21% value loss, dropping to $0.00000549. This was due to the immense selling pressure resulting from the SEC crackdown on the crypto market. Many altcoins suffered significant losses of up to 25% before mildly recovering.

Amidst market uncertainty and silence, Shiba ecosystem official Lucie shared reassuring words from Shiba Inu leader Shytoshi Kusama.

According to a screenshot shared by Lucie, Kusama implies that something significant will happen in the coming months, possibly in early July, while FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) continues.
