1️⃣ Orbit Chain: Blockchain security experts reported that Orbit Chain lost around $81 million as hackers gained access to seven out of ten multi-signature #wallet signatures. To cover their tracks, the perpetrators utilized Tornado Cash. 🌐

2️⃣ Bill Lou: Bill Lou, CEO and co-founder of the security-focused crypto wallet Nest, fell victim to airdrop scammers, losing 52 stETH (~$125,000). Lou became interested in the LFG token airdrop, revealed on January 1. The project rewards #ethereum users who have spent over $4269 in transaction fees since 2016, encouraging them to transition to the #solana blockchain. Lou clicked on a link in the top search results on Google, leading to a fraudulent website. 🚨

3️⃣ PeckShield Inc.: The credit protocol Radiant Capital was hacked, resulting in the theft of 1,900 ETH, valued at around $4.5 million. PeckShield experts explained that the attackers exploited a temporary window that appears during the activation of a new lending market. ⚔️

4️⃣ Scam Sniffer: Over the past year, scammers stole cryptocurrencies amounting to $295.5 million from over 324 thousand victims. The largest sum stolen from a single user reached $24 million. 💔

5️⃣ dYdX: Decentralized Exchange (DEX) dYdX shared the findings of an "targeted attack" analysis it experienced in November 2023. As a result of the incident, the crypto exchange's insurance fund lost $9 million. The platform's team now knows the identities behind the breach. 🔍
